Honduras

I don't ever really know where to begin~
After such an incredible week in Guatemala we headed over to Honduras to stay in one place for 8 days~ We wanted to do some diving, we ended up doing LOTS of diving... :) 15 dives in 7 days~
What an incredible time. If you ever get the chance to go diving, I highly recommend it. It is an entirely different world!!
We got to Barefoot Cay... I can't even call it a hotel because it was so much more. 4 bungalows on a private little cay with a fully staffed kitchen, a pool and a palapa. Sailboats can also dock there, we met some really incredible people there. The staff were truly fantastic! We really felt at home.

They had their own dive shop and they were truly amazing people too. All of the dive masters and boat captains were so fun and great~ We felt like part of the family with the hotel and dive staff. Everyone was really fantastic!!
Some of the dive staff...

Shark dive photos! I cannot say enough about this amazing dive with these fascinating creatures. We sat through the briefing. I admit I might have been a little nervous. But more about the current they warned us there could be...Luckily...No current! We jump and head for the line~ I took a look down and could see a few of the circling. We headed down to about 70 feet and waited on the bottom as they swam around. We even got to swim around with them for a few minutes and then back to the sandy bottom while they opened the bucket with a few fishheads...
If I can figure out how to post video I will~ Jed took an awesome short video down there too. These are taken by my husband Jed with our point and shoot in an underwater housing....

The Dolphin Dive...
This was an amazing experience too~ There were only 3 dolphins that we got to dive with and they pretty much come up to you when they want to~ They are such neat animals~

Here are some more random diving photos~

As you can tell, aside from diving and relaxing at Barefoot Cay, we did not get to venture out much. But we did meet some new friends and we drove to the East end with them to hang out~ they snorkeled while I lounged in a hammock~
Here are just a few shots from the East End...

That pretty much sums up our trip to Roatan...
Thank you for letting me share so much.
