Got Books?

So I have recently just gotten back in the habit of reading~
While we were on our vacation in Roatan Honduras, the place where we stayed had a big drawer full of books~ Take a book, leave a book,~ So I took one and began to read it. I only read about 5 chapters while we were there, and it took me about 5 more weeks before I picked it up again and finished it. Just after I finished, I picked up another book and read it in a few days~ I have been reminded how much I love to take the time to read~ So I started thinking about sharing books...
Take a book, leave a book.
I have the last 2 books that I read that I would love to send your way if you are interested~
The 2 books I have right now are
"Bones to Ashes"
and
"The Alchemist"
Anyone interested in sharing books???
We can start sending them around.
My friend Nicole also sent me a link to join a site called www.goodreads.com
where you can post and review your books. Anyways, I thought this could all be fun, so I started a blog for this specifically and can invite anyone to post on that blog if you'd like to share books are receive books, or review etc....

Teasdale Utah~

I have not been very on top of blogging lately~ I have a bunch of shoots I still need to post~ But for now, I am posting about our trip to Southern Utah last weekend.
My husbands family has a cabin in Teasdale, just outside of Capitol Reef. So we took the dogs down there and hung out for a few days~ I did not get a good shot of one of our dogs so only 2 of the 3 are represented ~ And looking a little rugged :)
The lizard shot is courtesy of my husband Jed!
We always like to eat breakfast here at the Capitol Reef Inn...
Another thing we love down here is this HUGE eagles nest in the amazing tree~ Sometimes there are little babies, but this time just the one Eagle was there. It is always incredible to see them!

Honduras

I don't ever really know where to begin~
After such an incredible week in Guatemala we headed over to Honduras to stay in one place for 8 days~ We wanted to do some diving, we ended up doing LOTS of diving... :) 15 dives in 7 days~
What an incredible time. If you ever get the chance to go diving, I highly recommend it. It is an entirely different world!!
We got to Barefoot Cay... I can't even call it a hotel because it was so much more. 4 bungalows on a private little cay with a fully staffed kitchen, a pool and a palapa. Sailboats can also dock there, we met some really incredible people there. The staff were truly fantastic! We really felt at home.

They had their own dive shop and they were truly amazing people too. All of the dive masters and boat captains were so fun and great~ We felt like part of the family with the hotel and dive staff. Everyone was really fantastic!!
Some of the dive staff...

Shark dive photos! I cannot say enough about this amazing dive with these fascinating creatures. We sat through the briefing. I admit I might have been a little nervous. But more about the current they warned us there could be...Luckily...No current! We jump and head for the line~ I took a look down and could see a few of the circling. We headed down to about 70 feet and waited on the bottom as they swam around. We even got to swim around with them for a few minutes and then back to the sandy bottom while they opened the bucket with a few fishheads...
If I can figure out how to post video I will~ Jed took an awesome short video down there too. These are taken by my husband Jed with our point and shoot in an underwater housing....

The Dolphin Dive...
This was an amazing experience too~ There were only 3 dolphins that we got to dive with and they pretty much come up to you when they want to~ They are such neat animals~

Here are some more random diving photos~

As you can tell, aside from diving and relaxing at Barefoot Cay, we did not get to venture out much. But we did meet some new friends and we drove to the East end with them to hang out~ they snorkeled while I lounged in a hammock~
Here are just a few shots from the East End...

That pretty much sums up our trip to Roatan...
Thank you for letting me share so much.
